Shepherdstown Rotary Inducts Two New Members
The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown WV has recently inducted two new members. They are:
Miriam Conroy is shown on the left in the accompanying photo with Club Vice President Monica Lockett. A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Ms. Conroy is the owner of Chef Miriam, LLC, a catering business based in Harpers Ferry. She is also the house caterer for Casanel Vineyards in Loudoun County, VA, a culinary instructor at Blue Ridge Community college, and offers personal instruction to home cooks. She was trained at L’Acadamie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, MD. Her website can be found at http://www.chefmiriam.com.
Dana Orsini retired from General Motors in 2008 after a 30-year career with the firm as a supervisor, training coordinator, and financial analyst. A lifelong resident of Berkeley County, he is a Shepherd College graduate and has an MBA from Frostburg State College. He coached basketball for many years in the Berkeley County Parks and Recreation program, and is active in the First Baptist Church of Martinsburg. He is shown on the right with Club member Tom Miller.
