Martinsburg Rotary Serves 600 at Pancakes for Polio
On Monday, May 26, 2014, the Rotary Club of Martinsburg held its 5th annual Pancakes for Polio Breakfast at War Memorial Park from 8 AM to 11 AM. Close to 600 folks were served a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausages, biscuits & gravy and fruit salad. More than 20 Club members as well as a number of Club friends volunteered to make the event possible. Event Sponsors that provided monetary donations or food and other necessary items included ROCS, Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, Johnnies, Sunfire Energy Solutions and Pete Mulford. The Grill Sponsors were Chris Knight & Family, HMS Technologies, Butch Cazin and Arndt-McBee Insurance. Special thanks goes to the girls of the Run N Gun Travel Basketball team that helped to serve food and clear tables.
