This is Kevin Knowles final program. We will have Rotarians Bill Wortley, Marilyn Schoon, Pam Curtis, and Ross Curtis talk to us about their adventures in Africa. The scariest sight they encountered was Mike Hornby’s brother trying to load the six suitcases full of clothes for orphans into a small car.Last Week
At the Installation Banquet, we celebrated a year of accomplishments with President Mike Hornby and looked forward to another great year under incoming President Chris Johnson. Awards were handed out, and new officers and board members were installed. All in all it was a very pleasant evening.Miniwheels
Among the awards handed out were Doug Frye being named Charles Brown Rotarian of the Year and Karen Spence being named Rising Rotarian of the Year. A full roundup of the awards will be posted later. Doug Arndt’s wife, Beth, won the 50/50 drawing for the night.
