Last week: We had Allen Corbin (right), Executive Director of Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks and Recreation, as well as Steve Catlett (left), former ED. Steve provided an update on capital projects. Allen discussed how the organization was adjusting its program during the pandemic.
Installation Dinner: On July 9 at the Purple Iris, the club celebrated Steve Roach, his accomplishments and service to the club. Past District Governor Melinda Golden installed Pam Wagoner as president, as well as all the officers and board members. Additionally, Berniece Collis was named the Club’s Rotarian of the Year for her leadership in engaging youth in the Club’s efforts within the community. John Miller was made an Honorary Member of the club by the unanimous vote of our board of directors. About 54 guests were in attendance. It was a lovely evening with plenty of social distancing and fellowship.
