Blue Ridge Community and Technical College Forms New Rotaract Club

Rotaract is a service club for men and women who are dedicated to community and international service. The Martinsburg Rotary Club is sponsoring the Blue Ridge CTC Rotaract Club, offering guidance and support to help cultivate the club and its activities. Rotaract clubs provide true “partners in service” with key members of the family of Rotary. March 9-13 is World Rotaract Week and Blue Ridge CTC is excited to announce the formation of a Rotaract Club on campus. The College has been working hard to recruit students to join the new service-oriented club and will begin the process to charter the club this spring. A celebratory dinner was held on March 9 in honor of the creation of the club.
Rotaract Club is open to current students at Blue Ridge CTC. Rotaract clubs are self-governing and self-supporting and can be university or community-based. Rotaract memberships total over 184,000 in more than 8,000 clubs worldwide.
